One of our techs using a 200psi air-rod system - notice no vacuums upstairs, that is because a 12,000cfm vacuum truck is applying suction at the main trunk line downstairs - the proper way to clean ducts.

Do you know what's in your ducts?  Most people don't so there is nothing to be ashamed of.  What's important though, is that what you don't know can hurt you.  An average household duct system (1,500sq ft) can circulate up to 20lbs of dirt, dust, mold, hair, dead insects and worse - in one year.  Even new and remodeled homes aren't safe, mainly because builders leave on average 15lbs of debris in the ductwork from construction.  This is because the ductwork is always installed before the rooms are finished and sheet rocked.  All this dirt and debris left in your system create the perfect breeding ground for mold, mildew and bacteria.  All having the ability to negatively impact your health.

The solution is to call Armstrong - our technicians are NADCA certified and will use state of the art cleaning tools to remove this debris from your home.   We can also consult you on indoor air quality and provide customized solutions to help create a better environment.

Our Equipment and Experience:

  • Vacuum trucks and engine driven portable equipment - up to 12,000CFM.  A HEPA Vacuum is NEVER enough suction to properly charge a system.  A whole house special company will do whatever it takes to assure it is adequate, don't be fooled.

  • Negative Air push and pull technique - The only way to clean Air Ducts.  Our vacuums are setup outside and attached to the main system lines.  We do not vacuum each individual line from your living space.  This is almost impossible.  Try sticking your own vacuums hose down your duct work.  Putting a 4" hose in a 6" duct is near impossible.  Other cleaners would like you to believe otherwise though.
